Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent. |

Add water, navy beans, butternut squash, mustard, raisins, thyme, salt, pepper, and cayenne and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until squash is tender. |
