Ingredients

6 to 8 Nectarines , pitted and very thinly sliced
¼ cup light Brown Sugar , packed
1 tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Salt
2 cup fresh Strawberries , hulled and halved
2 Tbsp Butter , sliced
½ cup Sugar , divided
1 Egg , beaten
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 cup all-purpose Flour
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 cup all-purpose Flour
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
½ cup Milk

Make this refreshing cobbler with summer-ripe fruit…yum! Add a scoop of ice cream, if you like.

Combine nectarines, brown sugar, spices and salt in a bowl; let stand for 15 minutes. In a saucepan over low heat, combine strawberries, butter and ¼ cup sugar.

Cook and stir for 5 minutes, until syrupy. Remove from heat; cool. In another bowl, whisk together egg, remaining sugar, baking powder, flour, vanilla and milk. Spread nectarine mixture evenly in an ungreased 13"x 9" glass baking pan.

Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over nectarines. Dollop with spoonfuls of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool at least 15 minutes before serving.
