1 cup (75 g) finely grated Parmesan Cheese

2 oz (60 g) Chorizo Sausage

1 Onion

1 lb 2 oz (500 g) minced/ground Pork

1 tablespoon Ghee

1 plump Garlic

2 Carrots

1 tablespoon Vegetable Broth

1 teaspoon Paprika

1½ cups (250 g) Basmati Rice

Directions
This family favourite combines the salty flavours of Parmesan and chorizo with mellow minced/ground pork and rice in a delicious meal.

In a food processor or by hand, mix the Parmesan, chorizo, grated onion and minced/ground pork. |

Press the Sauté button on the multi-cooker and add the ghee. When hot, fry the chopped onion, garlic and carrots for 5 minutes, then add the pork mixture and stir, using a spoon to break up the mixture, until the pork is coloured. Add the stock paste or cube and stir, then add the paprika, rice and 320 ml/1⅓ cups water and deglaze the pan. |

Secure the lid in place and set to Rice for 12 minutes. At the end of cooking, use the QPR method and serve immediately with shavings of Manchego or Parmesan cheese on the top. |
