Brown the sausages in 1 tablespoon of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, 10 to 12 minutes; remove and slice. |

Cook the polenta according to the package directions. |

Cook the garlic in the remaining tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the chard, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper; cook, tossing, until wilted, 3 to 4 minutes. Fold in the sausage. Serve over the polenta. |
