Salmon with hollandaise sauce recipe

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 tbsp Butter
Dash of Salt
2 Salmon fillets with skin
4 Egg yolks
1 cup Butter , sliced into cubes
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt
Black Pepper to taste
3 tbsp chopped Parsley

Ordinary salmon is elevated to something special with some hollandaise sauce.

Steps

Melt the butter in a skillet.

Season the salmon fillets with salt.

Sear the salmon on both sides and be sure to get the skin nice and crispy.

Set the salmon aside but keep warm.

Using a double boiler, bring 1 cup of water to boil in the bottom part.

Whisk the eggs in the top bowl for 3 minutes.

Keep adding pieces of butter to the eggs and keep whisking.

Remove the top bowl from the heat and stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Spoon the hollandaise sauce over the salmon fillets. 10. Top with chopped parsley.
