Ornament- or circle-shaped cookie cutter

3–4 Gel Icing

Directions
These Rice Cereal Ornaments give you a delicious treat and an interactive holiday activity all in one! Just shape the ornaments from the rice cereal ahead of time, place some fun small candies in prep bowls and a few gel icing tubes on the table, and the kids will have a blast decorating their own Christmas ornaments.

Melt butter in a medium saucepan on medium-low heat. |

Add marshmallows and stir until melted. |

Pour melted marshmallows over cereal and mix until combined. |

Place warm rice cereal mix in an 8" × 10" baking pan and allow to cool, approximately 5–10 minutes. |

Cut your rice cereal with an ornament or circle cookie cutter. |

Using gel icing, decorate as desired. To add the M&M’s to the ornaments, just use a few dots of gel icing as a glue. |
