½ cup (125 ml) semi- Skimmed Milk

Place the dates in a heatproof bowl, cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 30 minutes to soften. Drain |

Place the dates, strawberries (reserve one as a garnish, if desired), beetroot, carob or cacao powder, yoghurt and milk in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. |

To serve, pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with the muesli, chia seeds, cacao nibs and reserved strawberry. |
