1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
3 Egg (beaten)
1½ cups Milk
¼ cup Butter (melted)
1 tbsp dried Parsley
1 pound extra-lean ground Beef
¼ cup Onion (peeled, finely chopped)
¼ cup Celery (diced)
¼ cup Carrots (chopped)
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Steak Sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Preheat the main oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8” square casserole dish.

In a bowl whisk the flour with the baking powder and salt.

In a second bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and melted butter.

Pour the egg mixture over the flour mixture and beat until incorporated. Stir in the parsley and set to one side.

Over moderate-high heat, heat a large frying pan or skillet and stir in the beef along with the onion.

Cook while stirring until the beef is evenly browned and crumbly, with no pink remaining. This will take approximately 10 minutes.

Drain off any excess grease and discard.
