¼ cup (60 ml) Maple Syrup

Pinch of coarse Sea Salt

2 firm Peach

2 scoops of vegan Ice Cream

Directions
Dessert doesn’t need to be complicated, and done right this incredibly simple dessert is a real winner, especially when you are cooking for a special person in your life.

Heat a small pan over a low heat and toast the walnut halves for a couple of minutes until lightly coloured and fragrant. Pour in the maple syrup and heat until thick and sticky, stirring to coat the nuts. Sprinkle over a small pinch of coarse salt. |

Warm a large pan or griddle pan (a griddle works best because it gives beautiful charred lines on the peach), then add the peach slices. Don’t touch or move them for 2 minutes, then turn them over and cook for 2 more minutes. |

Transfer the peach slices to serving plates, add a scoop of ice cream to each and sprinkle with the candied walnuts. If you like, drizzle over some soy cream to serve. |
