1 marble-sized fresh Tamarind

1 Green Chilli

4-5 Curry Leaves

2-3 Tbs Water

Directions
This chutney is used as a spread on dosas, chapattis or sandwiches. One must add just enough water to make a smooth paste, but not too much as the fresh herbs contain water as well and the chutney could become too watery.

Grind all the ingredients with a little water to a paste. |

Serve it with rice, chapattis or dosas. Coconut chutney and can also be used as sandwich spread. |
