8 ounce loaf of French Bread
Directions
This bread pudding makes a lovely breakfast treat with some cinnamon sprinkled on top. Try this with a bit of whipped cream for a sweet snack.

Combine heavy cream and half-and-half in a saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil. |

Place chocolate chips in a bowl and pour the hot cream over the chips. Stir until well combined and smooth. |

Add chile powder, cinnamon, salt and cloves to the bowl and stir well. |

In a separate bowl, beat eggs and egg yolks together lightly. Beat in sugar. |

Stir in 8 ounces of chocolate mixture into the eggs until smooth. Toss in bread until coated and let the bread sit for 15 minutes, soaking up the chocolate. Stir often. |
