Heat olive oil in a deep bottom pan over medium-high flame. Stir in onion and sauté until trans-lucent. Add in garlic paste and ginger. Cook for a minute. |

Then, add in broccoli, salt and pepper. Cook for few minutes while stirring occasionally. |

Now, add in rice and pour in 8 cups of water. Cover the pan with a lid. Let it simmer over low heat until rice is cooked through and water evaporates completely. |

Once done, remove the pan from heat and transfer the rice to a serving platter. Serve hot! |
