Preheat the grill to moderate-high. |

In a bowl, combine the beef with the bacon, salt, and pepper. |

Using clean hands, form the beef mixture into 4 (¾” thick patties). |

Maker an indent in the top of each pattie to make a shallow well. |

Grill the burgers, until an internal thermometer inserted in the center of the burger, registers 140 degrees F. |
