Whereas rolls usually require yeast, biscuits are more akin to a muffin or a scone no yeast is required. If you need to avoid yeast or you are searching for the quickest bread to make for dinner, these versatile biscuits made with Pancake and Baking Mix will do the trick. They can be made start to finish in just 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. |

Combine the oil and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir in 266 grams of the baking mix and blend by hand until a thick batter forms into a ball. |

Sprinkle a light dusting of baking mix on a smooth prep surface and scoop the dough on top. Use more flour as needed to keep the dough from sticking. |

Use your hands to gently pat the dough into a disk about ½ inch (13 mm) thick. Use a knife or biscuit cutter to cut eight 2-inch (5 cm) round biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet. |
