Choose which variation of the rub you will be making, and combine the salt, herbs and spices together in a small bowl. |

Heat the coconut oil in a cast-iron frying pan on medium–high heat. When the fat has melted and the pan is hot, cook the steaks 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. |
