1 cup (250 ml) of Skimmed Milk

½ cup (125 ml) of Oil

3 cups (750 ml) of Tapioca Flour

1 cup (250 g) of grated Cheddar Cheese
Directions
This is a quick snack that is large on flavour and super quick on time. This amazingly simple Brazilian dish features a simple mix of tongue tingling ingredients. The whole recipe can be prepared and made in minutes. Like all good cooking, it’s the preparation that is important and it’s ideal for a simple light lunch or starter with an evening meal.

Preheat the oven to 200C (400°F). Line a baking tray with non-stick baking parchment paper. |

Mix the milk, water, and oil together in a saucepan and on a high heat, bring the mixture to a boil. |

Combine the tapioca flour, grated cheese, egg and salt in a large mixing bowl. |

Pour the milk mixture from the saucepan to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl and whisk until the batter is creamy. Form balls of about 25 mm (1”) diameter from the dough using your hands. If necessary, add a small amount of additional tapioca flour if the dough is too tacky. |

Finally, place the dough balls on the baking sheet and bake them until they turn golden for about 20 minutes. Serve warm for best results. |
