Wash unshelled peanuts in water until the water is clear. |

In your slow-cooker crock, soak peanuts overnight in water to cover, adding 7 Tbsp. salt. |

In the morning, turn cooker to Low and cook for 7–10 hours until peanuts are desired tenderness. Boiled peanuts should be tender, not crunchy hard, and the shells will be quite soft. |

Drain peanuts and allow to cool 10 minutes before serving. Peel shells off peanuts and eat. |

Store leftover boiled peanuts in refrigerator, or freeze. Reheat before eating. |
