8 ounces sourdough Bread

2½ tablespoons extra virgin Olive Oil

3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

2 teaspoons Garlic Powder

1 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper

2 ounces Parmesan Cheese
Directions
You’ll want to keep this delicious side dish away from anyone’s little sister who may have a garlic bread weakness. Unless she once made a move on your ex, in which case, garlic breath is a fitting punishment.

Preheat the broiler to its high setting or set oven temperature to 400°F. |

Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the sourdough slices on it. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the bread slices. |

In a small mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter, garlic powder, and black pepper to combine. Using a pastry brush, brush a little of the garlic butter mixture on each slice of sourdough. Sprinkle Parmesan on each slice. |

Toast the bread for 5 minutes, or until it is golden brown and the Parmesan has crisped. Serve immediately. |
