A rounded shrub with large, oval leaves and big, spherical heads off lowers from midsummer. The flower color of Hydrangea is influenced by soil acidity; on acidic soils the f lowers are pale blue, ranging to pink on more alkaline soils. A good ornamental hedge of medium height that needs to be pruned in late autumn. Suitable for coastal sites.
